3rd Tourism Conference, UNITAR


Faculty of Hospitality & Tourism Management, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, Kelana Jaya hosted a 3rd Tourism Conference at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, Capital Square on 3rd November 2009. This conference is carried out as part of their course requirement for Bachelor in Hospitality & Tourism Management who are taking Event Management in terms of organizing the conference. Another group is students who are taking courses for Project Paper and Seminar in Industry Perspective where the students are required to present the seminar papers, publishing their research in publishers format & posters. The theme of this conference is “Legacy Amidst Serenity” that match with the research project on "Ecotourism product development in a district of Pekan, Pahang".

A total of 3 lecturers and 41 students participated in presenting the seminar papers & posters. It will be a great opportunities for the students to expose them with research and experience acquired along doing a field study, writing a book about their experience on their study area, writing seminar papers and presenting papers in their study area of a district of Pekan, Pahang. The conference has proved to be an outstanding success the students really perform their effors.
